Ethan rolled over the other night! He has not figured out that he can do it all the time, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before he is rolling all over the place. It cracks me up how he will do it sometimes and the a few minutes later he acts like he has no idea what to do! His poor chubby legs are so heavy to kick over! When we place him under his musical gym, I think he gets a little distracted by all the dangling toys over him. He could play with them all day!
Last night we started Ethan on cereal. He did not care for it too much, but we are gonna keep trying each night. Matt and I absolutely love watching his facial reactions to the new substance in his mouth. I seriously think that more of the cereal ends up on Ethan than in his mouth. He doesn't seem to like the cereal, but yet when he sees us come near him with the spoon, he opens his mouth. The little rugrat is learning, and I do not think it will be too long before he realizes that the cereal is oh so yummy!!

I used to put cereal in Chris's bottle. I don't remember the how much it has been 18 years but I think it was like a table spoon per bottle. It would thicken the milk and he would sleep so much better and longer. Then later, I started feeding him the cereal. Having it in his bottle made him use to the taste. Just a idea it might help. Oh, use a older nipple because you will have to make the hole in the nipple bigger.
